I have taken it upon myself to rate the presidents of my lifetime.
Absolutely subjective and biased. Just like CNN, MSNBC, NBC, ABC, CBS, NEW YORK TIMES……Well, you get the idea.
I factored and scored the presidents in 3 major areas:
ECONOMY – How the economy was effected by the presidency and the positive/negative effect the president had on it
JUSTICE – Judges appointed, respect for the Constitution, following the law
FOREIGN POLICY/WAR – How any war(s) were conducted during the presidency and how they interacted with the world
So using this method here they are from worst to best:
13. Obama – In less than a month in office he has succeeded in wrecking the American economy with his socialist cohorts in congress. He has spent his weeks in office apologizing to terrorists and criminals. He has no concept or respect for the Constitution. He still has time to make up ground and he seems to be a nice fellow although unprepared and unqualified for the presidency.
12. Carter – Wrecked the economy, oversaw the Iran hostage debacle, mislead conservatives into thinking he was one of them.
11. Clinton – Never met a left wing special interest group he didn’t like, missed several opportunities to end Osama before he began, took credit for Bush I’s economic recovery, no personal discipline. I’d like to have a beer with him. I don’t want him as president.
10. Kennedy – Although a war hero he mishandled Southeast Asia and got us involved in an un-winnable war. Could not get significant legislation passed without Johnson. Was elected because he looked good on TV. Worshipped because he was killed in office.
9. Ford – What can you say? A very nice man and good congressman who was over-matched by the presidency. Was the leader when we ignominiously cast out of Vietnam. Did the right thing for the country by pardoning Nixon at his own political expense. If decency was an indicator he would be #1.
8. Eisenhower – Caretaker for post-war prosperity. Allowed McCarthy to run wild. In the middle as he should be.
7. Nixon – A great president. He opened up China to the world. He cast himself down by his own hubris.
6. Roosevelt – Conducted WWII and helped make the USA a world power but needed the war to prop up his own failed domestic policies.
5. Johnson – Inherited Kennedy’s war and forever tainted by it. Was the real architect of civil rights. Not given nearly enough credit.
4. Truman – A real man of the people. Pragmatic and decisive. Made one of the most critical decisions of all time to use the A-bomb in Japan. Thousands of Japanese suffered and died. Millions of Americans and Japanese did not die in the defense of Japan.
3. Bush I – Maintained Reagan’s world changing strategy and kept America on course.
2. Bush II – No American president has had to face the challenges that this president has. No American president had to deal with attacks on American soil by crazed fanatics with no country of affiliation. Kept America safe from further attacks. Dealt with the absolute incompetency of the local state and city governments and somehow got Louisiana headed back to normalcy in spite of the onslaught from the leftist press and the idiots in Washington. With intelligence that EVERY free country in the world agreed with he brought down a brutal and despotic regime in Iraq. They are a shinin light in the otherwise dark abyss of the the Arab world. Inherited Clinton’s recession and turned it into one of the great resurgences of American economics. Did not follow the drifting sentiments of whatever USA Today and the polls were spouting but did what was right for America. Did more for poverty and illness in Africa than any president or world leader, ever. All this in spite of the Democrats trying to illegally trying to steal the 2000 election. Thanks to Al Gore for finally doing the right thing. Will be remembered by history as one of the greatest presidents if we survive Obama.
down the Soviet Union. Brought prosperity out of the Carter recession. Brought pride and hope back to America. Like Bush II was reviled and ridiculed by the elitist and leftist media. Along with Washington, Jefferson, Linclon and George W. Bush, one of , if not the greatest president of all time.
LBJ ? bottom of the list. Civil rights was a comin’, give congress the credit, LBJ micro manager a war that he increased 100 fold over JFK’s involvement. His cration of the welfare state ruined the black family and is whittling away at the families of the working poor.
and he picked his dogs up by the ears.
Lady bird did plant a lot of flowers, but no offence to Texas, He stunk.

Just cause LBJ was from Texas.
And Kennedy a war hero? He was a war veteran, all due credit there, but how do you manage to get a speedboat cut in half by a destroyer? That makes you a hero? The government gave him a torpedo boat to attack the enemy.
Roosevelt? The guy who lost WW2? Yeah lost it. We entered the war in Europe with a mission to free Poland. How did that work out? This guy gave away a huge chunk of world at Yalta, partly because he was too sick to be there. You gotta know when to be replaced, Mr.” the Country needs me, so I will break all precedents and not honor the traditions of my country.” America won that war in spite of Roosevelt.
Truman was in office as he was the least threatening personality Roosevelt could find. Notice the Democratic president’s choice of Veep, alway a weak link, on purpose. [Biden???]
Truman’s shining moment was letting Gen. Marshall rule the world. The Marshal plan was true genius.

Will,
Being from Texas is enough (lol) we’re all egomaniacs.
Hey, check the polling links and vote.
BTW, Johnson nearly beat Kennedy for the nomination and always resented the royal Kennedys, especially Bobby.
I love your passion.
