Who are the Great Unwashed?

One of my favorite columnists back in the stone-age used to refer to regular folks as “The Great Unwashed”.

This did not mean we are dirty (although it could). This refers to the people who live, work, worship, buy the tickets, send their kids to school and a thousand other things.

In other words, the vast majority of people that politicians, preachers, bankers, celebrities, assorted intellectuals and most of all the media care nothing about whatsoever except for how they can be exploited.

I am a regular guy with some strong opinions on many subjects. 

The picture in the banner is from the black dirt farming country in North Texas. It is no longer there having been swallowed up by urbans sprawl. I took this photo and will be posting more as we move along.
